Pooja Bhatt is back in the OTT space with BGDC, another fascinating web series. The forthcoming Nitya Mehra-created Prime Video series is scheduled to debut on the platform on March 14. When the Indian original series was first announced on March 2, people were intrigued. The makers have officially released the highly awaited teaser for BGDC on YouTube and various social media platforms. The drama’s attraction, set against the backdrop of a boarding school, is in the female characters who lead the story. BGDC is centered around “a story about dreams, aspirations, and sisterhood,” according to the official description.
A group of schoolgirls confronted another student, calling her “crazy and idiot,” in the teaser. It looked as though they were fighting about undisclosed issues. Before one of the females sarcastically stated, “You are so talentless that you had to stoop so low?” another student punched a rival in the face. The video also included a short sneak peek of the boarding school premises, where students engaged in everyday activities.
With its all-female squad, intense competition, romantic moments, baffling moments, and uplifting scenes interspersed throughout BGDC’s teaser looks like an exciting drama with many unexpected turns. Pooja Bhatt appears in the teaser at a certain point. While on stage, she asks the students, “Who are you?” suggesting a journey of self-discovery. The video’s tagline said, “When you leave home, a new adventure awaits.” The teaser ends with the implication that the boarding school girls hope to be successful in the future.
Raima Sen, Zoya Hussain, Lovleen Misra, Mukul Chadda, Avantika Vandanapu, Akshita Sood, Aneet Padda, Vidushi, Dalai Tenzin Lhakyila and Afrah Sayed are among the cast members of BGDC, in addition to Pooja Bhatt.
