Ponniyin Selvan 2 would be the first South Indian movie released in 4XD

Among the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year is Ponniyin Selvan 2. The second film in the sweeping Mani Ratnam duology will be released shortly. The most recent information from the production company Lyca Productions indicates a 4DX release for the movie. The first South Indian movie to be released in this unique format is reportedly this one. Hollywood tentpole movies, including Shazam Fury of the Gods, John Wick Chapter 4, the Dial of Destiny, and the upcoming Indiana Jones, frequently adopt the release format. The South Korean movie theatre chain CJ CGV’s subsidiary 4DX enables movies to be enhanced with various real-world effects, such as motion seats, simulated snow, and strobe lighting. This specific exhibition model shows the movie in stereo 3D and 2D.

The only other Indian movie to be released in 4DX format was “Bhramastra Part 1,” which came out the last year. With the most recent information from the production company, fans of Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be anticipating one of Tamil cinema’s biggest blockbusters. One of Tamil cinema’s most significant projects to date, including the first part being the top earner from last year, is Ponniyin Selvan, featuring Jayam Ravi,  Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Karthi and Trisha, among others.

Based on the long-ago-written epic and vast novel Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki Krishnamurthy, the movie is about the Chola dynasty and the struggle between competing royal dynasties for the kingdom. The film is anticipated to have a broader scope than the first instalment and features an ensemble cast of individuals from all nation regions. A R Rahman manages the score and music, and Ravi Varman will oversee the camera. The movie, which launches on April 28th, is anticipated to be even more successful than the first instalment.
