Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot on Sunday in a private ceremony. Their wedding occurred at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur under tight security. Parineeti shared the formal wedding images on Monday. The bride and groom wore cream wedding attire.
In her caption, she penned, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time… So blessed to finally be Mr. and Mrs.! Couldn’t have lived without each other… Our forever begins now…”
Several ministers, close friends, and family members attended the wedding. Many well-known individuals, including Aaditya Thackeray of the Yuva Sena, Sanjay Singh of the Aam Aadmi Party, and Sanjeev Arora, among others, went to Rajasthan to bestow blessings on the couple on their wedding day. These individuals included Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Manish Malhotra, Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh, and other celebrities went to Udaipur for the celebrations.
Raghav’s sehrabandi ritual took place in the morning to officially begin the wedding. He took a boat from The Taj Lake Palace to The Leela Palace, where the main ceremony was held, with his baaraat. Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann, and the groom’s family were present for the baarati.
The newlyweds will now go to Chandigarh for a wedding reception as their wedding took place on September 24 at the Taj Lake Palace. In addition, they will hold another reception in Delhi.
On May 13 in Delhi, Raghav Chadha and Parineeti got engaged. They reportedly knew each other for several years because they studied in London. Parineeti was studying in London when the two first met. However, their love story didn’t start till Parineeti was in Punjab last year filming Chamkila. Raghav reportedly came to see her as a friend, and then they started dating.
