The prayer gathering was conducted on Sunday at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai’s Andheri district in honour of screenwriter-singer Pamela Chopra, who was the mother of Aditya and Uday Chopra and the wife of renowned director Yash Chopra.
On Sunday, numerous celebrities came to the YRF studio to pay their respects, including actor Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha, Karan Johar, Dimple Kapadia, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ananya Panday, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Neelam, and many more.
Business insiders referred to Pamela as Yash Chopra’s “muse.” She actively participated in her husband’s creative endeavours.
Recently, she appeared in the Netflix documentary “The Romantics,” where she discussed her husband’s style of filmmaking and how the Yash Raj studio changed over time.
In 1970, Pamela and Yash Chopra were wed. At 80, Pamela Chopra lost her husband, Yash Chopra, in 2012.
For various successful films, including Kabhie Kabhie, Noorie, Kaala Patthar, Silsila, Chandni, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Pamela Chopra sang several well-known songs.
