Oh My God, starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, was a smash hit with the audience when released in 2012. 11 years after Oh My God’s success, Akshay Kumar is returning with the social comedy Oh My God 2! While Akshay Kumar played Lord Krishna in the first instalment, he will play Lord Shiva in the sequel, Oh My God 2. The movie’s posters have so far grabbed fans’ curiosity. The main actors in Oh My God 2 are Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi. The movie will have a theatrical release. Akshay Kumar recently shared a new poster and revealed the movie’s theatrical release date on his Instagram account.
On Friday morning, Akshay Kumar announced on his Instagram page that the movie would hit theatres on August 11, 2023. Akshay Kumar stated, “आ रहे हैं हम,आइयेगा आप भी. August 11. In theatres. #OMG2.” He also released a brand-new Oh My God 2 poster depicting him as Lord Shiva. Along with ‘OMG 2’ written in it, the poster also has the release date written over it in Hindi. The same poster was also uploaded on Yami Gautam’s Instagram page simultaneously. She said, “The date is locked! #OMG2 is releasing in theatres on August 11, 2023. See you there!”
The movie Oh My God 2 will compete at the box office with Rajinikanth’s Jailer and Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel’s Gadar 2 when it releases on August 11, 2023.
Oh My God 2 is directed by Amit Rai and produced by Jio Studios, Viacom 18, and Ashwin Varde. In Madhya Pradesh, Akshay Kumar began filming for the movie in October 2021.
