Om Raut announced the final wrap of the much-awaited film Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh. Adipursh is a 3D film based on the Ramayana. It took 103 days to complete its shooting.
Filmmaker Om Raut took to Twitter and announced that the shooting of the film had been wrapped up. He shared a photo with the cast and wrote, “It’s a shoot wrap for Adipurush!!! A wonderful journey has come to its finish line. Can’t wait to share with you the magic we have created.#Adipurush #103DaysOfShoot.”
The official Twitter handle of T-Series also shared the news about the wrap of the film Adipurush. They shared some pictures from the set and wrote, “It’s a wrap for Adipurush!!! A wonderful journey has come to its finish line. Can’t wait to share with you the magic we have created. #Adipurush #103DaysOfShoot.”
The film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles, the film features Prabhas as Lord Ram, while Kriti plays the role of Sita. It also stars Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh Raavan. The film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The film went on floors this year and has now been wrapped up. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the film’s shooting was delayed for a few months.
Adipurush will release in theatres on August 11, 2022.
