Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha will share screen space with Sreenivas Bellamkonda in the forthcoming Chatrapathi as Sapna.

Chatrapathi is an official remake of S. S. Rajamouli’s 2005 Telugu directorial of the same name. The Hindi version is helmed by VV Vinayak and produced by Jayantilal Gada of Pen India Limited.
The film also stars Bhagyashree, Sharad Kelkar and Karan Singh Chhabra in pivotal roles.
It centres on a character named Chatrapathi, who is cut off from his family by his envious brother and ends up working as an enslaved labourer. While looking for his mother, Chatrapathi becomes the oppressed’s saviour and begins to be called their messiah. The movie will premiere on May 12.
Apart from Chatrapathi, actress Nushrratt will soon be seen in Akelli and Chhorii 2.
