Netflix India has released the trailer for their upcoming series Decoupled, Starring R Madhavan and Surveen Chawla in lead roles. It is the story of a separating couple navigating through their marriage. Produced by Bombay Fables and Andolan Films and directed by Hardik Mehta.
Taking Twitter, Netflix India shared the trailer of the new web series Decoupled. They captioned the post, “Feeling all the feels watching @ActorMadhavan and @SurveenChawla together in a Netflix series!!! Catch Arya and Shruti with their unusual take on marriage in #Decoupled this December 17th.”
The trailer begins with R Madhavan as Arya and Surveen Chawla as Shruti trying to settle their lives in a troubled marriage. They decide to separate, they make some ground rules and allow each other to see other people. Despite falling out of love, they choose to stay in the same house for their daughter. It also forces them to rethink their relationship.
As per ANI report, talking about his role, R Madhavan said, “I play the character of Arya, a pulp-fiction writer who suffers from a rather uncompromised sense of objectivity and clarity, along with a determination not to compromise (ever!) – which is hilarious especially when pitted against his calm and composed wife Shruti, played by Surveen. Surveen was a delight to work with through and through, and I hope the chemistry and humor we share on-screen leaves audiences laughing uncontrollably.”
Created by Manu Joseph, Decoupled also stars Apara Mehta and Akash Khurana in supporting roles.
