Following her appearance in the Jersey adaptation starring Nani and Shahid Kapoor, actress Mrunal Thakur will star alongside Nani in the upcoming film #Nani30.
Sharing the first look poster and movie’s release date on her social media profile, Mrunal Thakur captioned her post, “And the wait is over…21st Dec it is! @nameisnani @shouryuv @angadbedi @myrakiarakhanna @heshamabdulwahab @sanujohnvarughese @mohan.cvm @drteegala @vyraents @mrsheetalsharma”
Nani 30 is a family drama written and directed by debutant Shoryuv. Details about the film’s plot are currently under wraps. The film is being filmed in Goa right now.
Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Vijender Reddy Teegala are producing the project under the banner of Vyra Entertainments.
On the work front, Nani enjoys the success of his pan-Indian hit Dasara, directed by debutant Srikanth Odela. The period action drama was released on March 30 and has raised over Rs 100 crore worldwide.
While Mrunal was last seen in Gumraah, she will be seen in Pooja Meri Jaan, Pippa, Aankh Micholi and more.
Based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’s novel The Burning Chaffees, the film Pippa highlights the bravery of a 45th Cavalry tank squadron veteran who, along with his siblings, fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971, which resulted in the liberation of Bangladesh, India’s neighbour. Pippa, a movie starring Ishaan Khatter, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Soni Razdan, was produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films.
