Merry Christmas, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, is now screening in theatres. The first review of the movie was posted on social media by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Friday. He described it as a “gripping” thriller and said that Katrina Kaif is “terrific” in the film, which Sriram Raghavan directs. Praise for Vijay Sethupathi continued with Taran Adarsh, who called the actor “splendid” and said he had a “standout” performance in the film.
Taran Adarsh stated, “Serpentine twists and turns. Nail-biting suspense and tension-filled moments that keep you on edge. A masterstroke finale… Director #SriramRaghavan delivers an out-of-the-box, absorbing tale that teases your mind, besides keeping you engaged and entertained.

On the other hand, Taran Adarsh believed that the movie might not do remarkably well in theatres. He stated, “#MerryChristmas could’ve done with faster pacing and slight trimming for an enhanced impact… Also, this film depends entirely on a strong word of mouth, so don’t expect fireworks at the #BO on arrival.”
In Merry Christmas, which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, Sanjay Kapoor, Pratima Kannan, Vinay Pathak, Tinnu Anand, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, Radhika Sarathkumar, Rajesh Williams, and Pari are also featured. In the movie, Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte will also make cameo appearances.
