Anupam Kher is gushing about the Netflix film ToothPari and expresses excitement to see his son Sikander Kher wearing a uniform.
In the upcoming Netflix original series ToothPari – When Love Bites, starring actor Sikander Kher as a police officer, Pratim Dasgupta’s romantic fantasy thriller series centres on a vampire who falls in love with a commoner.
Sharing the first look poster for Sikander Kher on his social media, Anupam Kher wrote, “Dearest @sikandarkher!! Looking forward to watching #Toothpari! The teaser was intriguing. Veteran actors Revathy, Shantanu Maheshwari, Tanya Maniktala, Saswata Chatterjee, and Tillotama Shome are also featured in the series.
Shantanu Maheshwari plays the adorable boy-next-door dentist Doctor Roy in the show, and Tanya Maniktala plays the disobedient vampire Rumi. Sub Inspector Kartik (Sikander Kher) is looking into a ‘fang’ that he found; Luna Luka (Revathy), a contemporary witch; Meera (Tillotama Shome) and David (Saswata Chatterjee), the vampires with a past who aren’t afraid to share their experiences.
“Tooth Pari: When Love Bites,” a production of Endemol Shine India, features romance, suspense, thrills, and other fantastical elements.
The Signature, Metro In Dino, The Vaccine War, IB71, Nautanki, Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay, Kaagaz 2, Emergency, and many other films are among Anupam Kher’s upcoming releases in 2023.
