In Hush Hush, actress Soha Ali Khan will portray a journalist. She claims her longtime ambition of becoming a journalist has come true.
Soha Ali Khan was speaking with the media at the debut of the Hush Hush trailer. Hush Hush is an Amazon Prime crime drama series that also stars Juhi Chawla, Kritika Kamra, Suhana Goswami, Karishma Tanna, Ayesh Jhulka, and others. It follows the lives of four extremely wealthy women who become embroiled in a murder plot.
Sharing her excitement and dream coming true, Soha Ali Khan said, “I don’t want to give away too much because it is a crime drama, and there is a lot of suspense, so I don’t want to reveal too much. The series will be out soon. I am playing an ex-journalist. This role has been exciting for me because I wanted to be a journalist in real life. I am very fond of reading, writing, and investigating. Through this role, I get to live my dream on-screen.”
“Apart from playing the journalist, I am excited to be part of this series because it is so raw. This is not glamorous; it’s about ripping it down to the basics and working with Tanuja Chandra. It was wonderful for me because it was all about performance,” added Soha.
Ishi Sangamitra, a strong lobbyist, played by Juhi Chawla; Saiba Tyagi, a former investigative journalist. Zaira Shaikh, a self-made fashion designer, played by Shahana Goswami, and Dolly Dalal, a trapped in society character played by Kritika Kamra, are the main characters in the series.
The seven-part series is directed by Tanuja Chandra and produced by Kopal Naithani and Ashish Pandey. Shikhaa Sharma wrote the compelling story, while Ashish Mehta wrote the script and other stories.
The dialogues were written by Juhi Chaturvedi, a National Award-winning author. The series, which Abundantia Entertainment made, will begin streaming on September 22.
