Actor Kunal Kemmu has announced that he has started shooting for the third season of his successful crime thriller series, Abhay, directed by Ken Ghosh. The actor plays the role of an investigative officer. Abhay, which is telecast on ZEE5 Original series, with two seasons being released so far.
Announcing the shoot for the new series, Kemmu took to Instagram with the poster of the series. He posted a picture of the show’s clapperboard along with a metallic gun and captioned it: “And it begins…again! Abhay 3 @zee5premium @kenghosh19 @zeestudiosofficial. Shoot begins.”
The series directed by Ghosh and produced by BP Singh, Abhay 3 also features Nidhi Singh and Asha Negi in lead roles. The first season of the series was released in 2019, and it marked the digital debut of Kemmu. He received rave reviews from critics and audiences. The second season which was streamed in 2020, managed to replicate the success of the first season. Both the seasons had seasoned actors Ram Kapoor and Chunky Pandey in pivotal roles.
Kemmu started his acting career as a child artist and debuted with Mohit Suri’s 2005 film, Kalyug. He was last seen in the movie, Lootcase, released last year on Disney Plus Hotstar. The actor has given some notable performances in films like Go Goa Gone (2013), Malang (2020), and the Golmaal series.
