The fantasy romance drama Marry My Husband, starring Park Min Young and Na In Woo, will be released on January 1. This revenge drama revolves around a victim who awakens us to her past self and wants revenge on her husband, her best friend, and others.
The stills from tvN’s upcoming K-drama Marry My Husband were released on November 23—the first look of the drama featured Park Min Young. The actress, who was just diagnosed with cancer, is depicted in the photos as having health issues. Her mother-in-law is a bothersome person who has to deal with her husband and best friend betraying her. In addition to that stress, she learns she only has a few days to live.
Marry My Husband was inspired by Seong So Jak’s webtoon and was serialized on Naver from November 2021 to February 2023. The fantasy drama is scheduled to debut on January 1, 2024. Its episodes will air every Tuesday and Monday at 8:50 pm KST or 5:20 pm IST.
Park Won Gook, who has directed many television dramas like The Emporer: Owner of the Mask, Mr. Jo, Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist, and many others, is the director of the tvN drama. The screenplay for this project was written by Shin Yoo Dam, who also wrote for Awaken, Starry Night, and Gogh. The drama’s Leading characters will be Park Min Young, Na In Woo, Lee Yi Kyung, and Song Ha Yoon.
The story centres on Kang Ji Won, whose life is falling apart because of her mother and her debt, jobless husband. She finds out she has cancer and that her time is running out. To make matters worse, she discovers her husband is having an affair with a close friend. She gets into a physical fight with her husband, which ends in her murder. She chooses to get revenge on everyone who wronged her after opening her eyes to discover that she is ten years in the past.
