Keerthi Pandian, the daughter of veteran actor-producer Arun Pandian, completed her next project titled ‘Kannagi’. She was last seen in the movie Anbirkiniyal, which was released this year. On Sunday, she released her first look from the Movie.
Keerthi Pandian Shared the first look of the movie Kannagi on Twitter. The first look poster shows her pregnant with a fuse that runs from her abdomen, and someone is lighting a fuse as if to bomb her belly. It signals that the film is going to deal with a relevant social cause.
In the Statement, Keerthi said, “I cannot reveal much about the film right now. It’s a drama, and apart from the patchwork, we have completed shooting for the film. It was a great experience to work with cinematographer Ramji sir and music director Shaan Rahman”. She further adds, “it was a conscious decision to not add the director’s name in the first look poster. “He doesn’t want his name to be revealed at this point. What I can say is that a first-time director narrated this script to me two years ago, even before my first film, Thumbaa’s release. He had seen my stage plays, and he wanted to rope me in for this film based on that. We planned on starting; Kannagi a long time ago, but the pandemic made the shooting for the film possible only now.”
Shaan Rahman gives Kannagi’s music, cinematography by Ramji, editing by Sarath and produced by Skymoon Entertainment and E5 Entertainment. The cast comprises Keerthi Pandian, Ammu Abhirami, Vidya Pradeep, Adeshwar and Vettri.
