The makers of Karthi starrer upcoming film Viruman have released the first look poster of the movie on Friday, January 14, on the auspicious occasion of Pongal. The film is a rural-based mass entertainer, directed by M Muthaiya under Suriya’s 2D Entertainment banner.
Taking to Twitter, 2D Entertainment shared the film’s first look poster on their official handle. They captioned it, “Here it is! Dropping the super intense first look poster of #Viruman.”
Viruman generated tremendous excitement right from the film’s announcement last year. The film has Tamil director Shankar’s daughter, Aditi Shankar, making her acting debut. The second venture Karthi and director Muthaiya collaborate on after their 2015 film, Komban.
Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. Viruman is the second film Suriya is producing for Karthi after the box office success of Kadaikutty Singam in 2018. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director, and cinematography is by Selvakumar SK.
Along with Karthi and Aditi Shankar, Viruman also stars Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, Soori, Myna Nandhini, and Manoj Bharathiraja in pivotal roles.
Viruman is being planned as a summer 2022 release.
