Filmmaker Karan Johar will host the digital episodes of the upcoming season of the reality television show Bigg Boss. Last week the makers of Bigg Boss OTT had released the teaser of the upcoming show on Voot featuring Salman Khan, in the video, Salman shared that he will be seen hosting on television. Earlier it was speculated that Bigg Boss 13 fame Siddharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill will be hosting Digital Version. But now voot confirmed that Karan Johar will be hosting Bigg boss by sharing the post on Social Media.
Taking to Twitter, Voot shared a picture of Karan, introducing him as the host. Voot captioned the post, “#BiggBossOTT hoga itna over the top that only someone ekdum over the top could have matched the vibe. The one and only @karanjohar, joins #BBOTT as the host. Ab toh itna crazy, itna over the top hoga ki aap soch bhi nahi sakte. #BBOtt #BBOttOnVoot #Voot @vootselect.”
Talking to ANI, Karan Johar said that he and his mother are huge fans of the show and wouldn’t miss it for a day. He said that as a viewer it keeps him hugely entertained. He said that Bigg Boss OTT will surely be over the top. The filmmaker also said that his mother, Hiroo Johar’s dream has come true.
Karan will host the Bigg Boss OTT for six weeks which premieres on August 8 on Voot. After the OTT version, the show will be aired on TV with the host Salman Khan and will be launched as Bigg Boss 15.
