Karan Johar has unveiled the new poster of Madhuri Dixit’s debut web series, The Fame Game. He also revealed the release date of the show. The series was earlier titled Finding Anamika. It revolves around the life of a global superstar Anamika Pradhan (played by Madhuri), who suddenly vanishes without a trace.
Taking to Twitter, Karan shared the release date of the web series and captioned it, “There is always a hidden truth behind the curtain of fame and stardom. What is this truth in the life of Bollywood’s biggest star Anamika Anand? Know more soon. ‘The Fame Game’ series premieres 25th February, only on Netflix! #TheFameGame.”
Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment. The logline of the series reads, “Bollywood icon Anamika Anand has it all but is her life perfect or perfectly crafted? In a world of glitz, glamour and fame – the lines of what is real and what is not can often be blurred.”
The series brings Sri Rao as the showrunner and writer and Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli as directors. Apart from Madhuri Dixit, The Fame Game also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Lakshvir Saran, Suhasini Muley and Muskkaan Jaferi in pivotal roles.
The fame game will premiere on February 25 – exclusively on Netflix.
