Kapil Sharma has clarified on social media about the reports of a rift between him and Akshay Kumar. There were reports that Akshay Kumar would cancel an upcoming appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, and Kapil had spoken to Akshay and sorted things. All is now well between them, and the actor would be promoting Bachchan Pandey on Kapil’s show as scheduled.
Kapil took to Twitter and reacted to the reports of a rift between him and Akshay. He wrote, “Dear friends, was reading all the news in media about me and Akshay paji. I have just spoke to paji and sorted all this, it was just a miscommunication, all is well and very soon, we are meeting to shoot Bachhan Pandey episode. He is my big bro and can never be annoyed with me, thank you.”
On Monday, as reported in Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar refused to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote Bachchan Pandey film. It all began when Akshay appeared on Kapil Sharma Show for Atrangi Re promotions, and Kapil made fun of his interview with PM Narendra Modi. The joke was related to Khiladi Kumar’s question to PM Modi about eating a mango.
A source told Hindustan Times, “Akshay took all of Kapil’s jokes head-on, but the dig on the PM interview seemed to mock the dignity of such a high office. So Akshay requested the channel not to air that question. It is the right of the guests to make such a request as the show is not live. The channel agreed, but the said scene was leaked on the internet soon after.”
And that did not seem to go well with the actor. The actor has asked the channel for clarification before agreeing to the show. “It was a breach of trust on the part of someone in Kapil’s team, and Akshay sought a clarification before he appears on the show again,” added the source.
Now let’s see Akshay will come to Kapil Sharma Show to promote Bachchan Pandey or Not.
