Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut is currently basking in praises for her role of J Jayalalithaa in the film ‘Thalaivii. The movie was well appreciated by critics and audiences and did a fair business at the box office. Now Kangana is ready to portray the role of Goddess Sita in the upcoming mythological film ‘The Incarnation-Sita’.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kangana shared a poster of the upcoming film. As per the poster, the movie will be released in five languages- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The movie based on the mythological character from the epic Ramayana will be helmed by Alaukik Desai and written by veteran screenwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad.
In the press statement, filmmaker Alaukik Desai said that this character has never been explored, and I am thrilled to bring Kangana Ranaut on board as “Sita”. He further said, the movie will change the way people perceive the story of Sita, and I thank SS Studio for the support and belief.
Salon Sharma of SS Studio will be bankrolling the film. She said, “I am thrilled to have Kangana Ranaut on board with the film ‘The Incarnation Sita’. Kangana symbolises the spirit and essence of the fearless, powerful and daring Indian women.”
Apart from The Incarnation- SITA, Kangana also has ‘Tejas’ and ‘Dhaakad in the pipeline. She will also play the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in an upcoming political drama, ‘Emergency’.
