The music session for Emergency has begun with lyricist Manoj Muntashir and seasoned composer GV Prakash, according to Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
Taking to her social media profile, Kangana Ranaut shared two back-to-back stories. One read, “Most gratifying aspect of filmmaking is collaborations @manojmuntashir @gvprakash @manikarnikafilms”
The second one read, “Music seating with most talented @gvprakash and @manojmuntashir #emergency”
The story of the Emergency, declared by the nation’s then-prime minister Indira Gandhi on June 25, 1975, and lasted until 21 March 1977, is told in Emergency, Kangana Ranaut’s second film as a director.
During these 21 months, among other restrictions, civil freedoms were curtailed, press censorship was implemented, and elections were called off. It is frequently referred to as one of the most contentious times in India’s history as an independent nation.
Along with many more actors, the movie also stars Satish Kaushik, Vishak Nair, Milind Soman, Mahima Choudhary, Shreyas Talpade, and Anupam Kher. Ranaut is wearing numerous hats this time. She is not just the lead actor in the movie; she is also its producer and director.
