The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominations for the International Emmys on Thursday. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been nominated in the Best Performance for his role in the Netflix series, Serious Men. Actress Kangana Ranaut took Instagram to congratulate the actor on occasion.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared the exciting news on Instagram after being nominated for Best Performance by an Actor by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He posted his picture and wrote, “Wow !!!! #SeriousMen has got me a nomination for the prestigious #InternationalEmmyAwards in the Best Actor category Congratulations Team #SeriousMen Director @IAmSudhirMishra @sejtherage #BhaveshMandalia @manujosephsan & last but not the least @NetflixIndia @netflix @iemmys”
A few moments back, the Thalaivii actor Kangana Ranaut shared a post of Nawazuddin on Instagram. Where he shared the news of his nomination. Sharing the post on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “Congratulations sir… you are most definitely one of the best actors in the world”.
Other Indian celebrities nominated for International Emmys 2021 include Sushmita Sen- starrer series Aarya has been nominated in the best drama series category. Actor and Comedian Vir Das is also nominated in the comedy section for his special, ‘Vir Das: For India.’
