The shooting of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming project “Vikram” started here on Friday. The film co-stars Vijay Sethupati and Fahadh Faasil. The recently released poster of the film showed the three actors in a monochrome collage, with scars on their faces. The black and white poster has “Code: Red” scribbled on it.
Makers announced on Friday that the shooting for the film has begun. Behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos were posted from the movie sets by Raaj Kamal Films International, the movie’s production banner, who also announced that the film has gone on floors. As per the film’s team, Vijay and Kamal have already started the shoot, whereas Fahadh has yet to join the cast. His new Malayalam film “Malik” dropped in the OTT space on Friday.
Kamal Haasan also shared a video from the first day of the shooting. In the video, the cast and crew of the movie can be seen on the set, conversing with each other. Kamal Haasan captioned the video, “Day one of VIKRAM. Felt like a High school reunion. In the past 50 years, this is the longest I have been away from film shootings. Many filmmakers have not seen action for nearly a year.”
In a follow-up tweet, he wrote, “welcome all my comrades from all echelons back to work at RKFI. Especially Mr.Lokesh and his enthusiastic team and my talented brothers, Mr.Vijay Sethupathi and Mr. Fahadh Faasil. (2/2)@RKFI @Dir_Lokesh @VijaySethuOffl.”
Directed and written by “Master” storyteller Lokesh Kanagaraj, the music of “Vikram” will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
