Indian actress and director Revathy, known mainly in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, is ready to direct Kajol in ‘The Last Hurrah’ upcoming film. Inspired by the true story of an ideal mother. Kajol shared announced this news on social media.
Kajol shared the news on her official Twitter account. She shared her happy picture with Revathy and wrote, “So happy to announce my next film with the super awesome Revathi directing me.. called ‘The Last Hurrah.’ A heartwarming story that made me instantly say YES! Can I hear a “Yipppeee” please?”
The Last Hurrah is the story of a mother who battles challenging situations. Produced by Shraddha Agrawal and Suuraj Sinngh under the banner Blive Productions and Take 23 Studios. The project is currently in the pre-production phase.
Revathy has directed the films like My Friend, Phir Milenge, and the National Award-winning film Mitr. She was recently seen in Netflix’s anthology Navarasa, along with Vijay Sethupathi, Prakash Raj, and Ashok Selvan, among others, in a segment titled Edhiri.
Kajol made her digital debut with the Netflix film Tribhanga earlier this year, along with Mithila Palkar and Tanvi Azmi.
