Actor John Abraham has finished shooting for his forthcoming action- thriller, Ek Villain Returns. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani in lead roles. John will be seen doing intense action drama and high-octane sequences in the movie.
Abraham shared the news on Twitter and shared some pictures with his Ek Vilain Returns team cutting a cake on the set. “From my debut film to this, @mohit11481 and I have come a long way. Wrapping up this beautiful experience with some great memories! #EkVillianReturns,” he wrote.
The Mohit Suri-directed film is jointly produced by Balaji Telefilms and T-series. Ek Villain Returns, a sequel to the 2014 hit film, Ek Villain, the story of a criminal whose wife was murdered by a serial killer. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh.
According to a report in ANI, speaking about the film and working with Abraham, Suri said, “From being an assistant on John’s first film to now directing him in Ek Villain Returns, it has been a long destined dream which has come true. I was destined to work with him since my first movie. John and I’ve both started our careers in the same company, and I always wanted to work with him, and finally, I did get that opportunity. I’ve had a great experience on and off the set while working with him on the film.'”
Ek Villain Returns will release on July 8, 2022.
