Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has been one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the year. It was released only a short time after Pathaan earlier this year. Yesterday, Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, hit theatres. As its morning day begins at 6 a.m., fans have been rushing to theatres to watch it. People are seen dancing and setting off fireworks outside the theatre in photos and videos from all over the country. Several people have since tweeted their reviews of the movie. A well-known Tamil director, Atlee Kumar, debuted in Bollywood with the film Jawan, which Gauri Khan also produced under the Red Chillies banner. Along with Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), it features Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. Anirudh Ravichander composed Jawan’s music and background score, and G.K. Vishnu and Ruben handled cinematography and editing, respectively.
With the most tickets sold for an opening day in three national chains, Jawan has surpassed Pathaan’s record. In contrast to Pathaan’s 5.56 lakh record, Jawan has sold 5.57 lakh tickets. In addition, it has sold the most Hindi movie tickets ever in advance sales, coming in second only to the Baahubali dub. Jawan was released in theatres on September 7, which also happened to be Janmashtami.
