The makers of the film Jalsa, unveiled the first look of their leading ladies, Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah. Both have collaborated for the first time for the film, directed by Tumhari Sulu fame Suresh Triveni. The film will have its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 18.
Taking to Twitter, the Official handle of T-Series shared the film’s first look posters. They captioned it, “You know it’s going to be a great experience when two of the finest actors come together, Stay tuned for #JalsaOnPrime, coming this 18th of March @PrimeVideoIN.”
Vidya Balan also shared the same posters on Twitter and captioned it, “The real story hides beneath her smile. Super excited to announce #Jalsa streams on 18th March @primevideoi. #JalsaOnPrime.”
Written by Prajwal Chandrashekar and Suresh Triveni, with dialogues by Hussain and Abbas Dalal. Jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Vikram Malhotra & Shikhaa Sharma (Abundantia Entertainment) and Suresh Triveni. Jalsa also stars Manav Kaul, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Gurpal Singh, and Surya Kasibhatla.
Vidya Balan has earlier collaborated with director Suresh Triveni for the critically acclaimed Tumhari Sulu, and the duo is now coming together for the second feature.
Jalsa will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 18 March in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide.
