Actor Ishaan Khatter shared the first-look poster of his upcoming war film Pippa. The film based on the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 also stars Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli. The shooting of the film went on the floor on September 15. Ishaan shared the film’s first-look poster and expressed his excitement on beginning its shoot.
Actor Ishaan Khatter will essay the role of Brigadier Mehta of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron in Pippa, shared the first look poster on Instagram. In the poster, he is seen charging with a tank and sporting a battle-ready expression. Sharing the poster, Ishaan wrote, “Pippa shoot begins. This is going to special. ‘Shooting’ begins for our #Pippa! Godspeed.”
In the film, Mrunal Thakur will be playing the role of Ishaan’s younger sister, and Priyanshu Painyuli plays his elder brother. Soni Razdan will be essaying the role of his mother.
Based on the book ‘The Burning Chaffees’, written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. The film’s title is taken from the war tank called the PT-76, popularly known as Pippa. The war drama shows the heroic tank battle and the bravery of Brigadier Mehta, who fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. Which eventually led to the liberation of Bangladesh.
