Hot on the heels of the successful release of the web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, the makers have unveiled the soulful song ‘Ek Baar Dekh Lijiye’. With lyrics by A M. Turaz and music by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this romantic masterpiece is set to captivate the audience.
The chemistry between Taha Shah Badussha and Sharmin Segal is the most memorable aspect of the music video. The song is perfect for the romantic moments between Tajdar and Alamzeb’s characters. Sharmin can also be heard in the video saying her well-known dialogue, “Ek baar dekh lijiye, deewana bana dijiye. Jalne ko hai taiyar, parwana bana dijiye.”
The Netflix original series, featuring the gorgeous leading ladies Heeramandi, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and Sharmin Segal, debuted on May 1, 2024. In the pre-independence phase of the story, they portray courtesans.
