Actress Shamita Shetty took to her social media and cleared the air about her dating actor Aamir Ali, stating she is single and happy and doesn’t appreciate speculation about her love life.
After a public fallout with Raquesh Bapat after Bigg Boss stint, reports were viral that Shamita Shetty had found a new love in her life, Aamir Ali.
A video of Aamir planting a kiss on Shamita’s cheek went viral, and speculation spread like wildfire, but according to Shamita, none of its faithful.
Shamita took to her social media and shared, “I’m baffled by society and its convenient prudish mindset all across. Why are every action and every person subjected to scrutiny or snap judgement with no reality check? There are possibilities beyond the narrow-minded assumptions of the NETIZENS.”
“It’s high time we open our minds to it! Single n happy .. let’s focus on more important issues in this country,” Shamita added.
As soon as Shamita and Aamir were recently seen together at a gathering, dating rumours about the two began to circulate. Aamir was spotted leading Shamita to her car and kissing her on the cheek in one of the paparazzi videos.
On the job front, Shamita will appear in the movie “Tenant,” which will debut on February 10.
