While they were bitter rivals, Kangana Ranaut lauded Deepika Padukone for her elegance and presence at the Oscars, which sparked many rumours. But, the Queen actress has now clarified her abrupt change of heart.
We all know that Deepika Padukone and Kangana Ranaut are at odds, yet the actor hailed the actress for her Naatu Naatu song and dance performance at the Oscars.
The media had a field day speculating, but none of it was true, and Kangana had the last laugh.
Kangana Ranaut just took to her social media and tweeted, “All those acting shocked that I praised DP, don’t overthink, I am a very simple person I just follow Krishna/Dharma n he says kisi ko undeserving credit dena anachar hai lekin kisi ko deserving credit na dena usse bada anachar/paap hai, Bollywood may have failed, but I haven’t.”
Kangana Ranaut is currently wrapping up the second Chandramukhi instalment, which also stars Raghava Lawrence and Vadivelu.
Meanwhile, the actor has finished filming Emergency, on which she also serves as producer and director. In the historical drama, Kangana plays the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
In the movie Tejas, she also plays an Indian Air Force pilot. In another Pradeep Sarkar-directed biopic, she will also appear about the illustrious stage performer Noti Binodini.
