According to actor Priyanshu Chatterjee, his next family-friendly programme FireFlies – Parth Aur Jugnu, is enjoyable and clean.
Meet Mukhi, Aekam Binjwe, Madhoo Shah, Luke Kenny, Akshat Singh, Zoya Afroz, Varun Kapoor, Harshit Bhojwani, Anaya Shivan, Riva Arora, Rahul Singh, Hitesh Dave all play significant roles in the series, which is directed by national award-winning filmmaker Hemant Gaba and scripted by Alok Sharma.
Talking to the media about his show, actor Priyanshu said, “It is a clean family film about our own Indian roots, it is a beautiful film made with a lot of VFX, it a complete fun package, the entire film, so I am hopeful that audience will love it.”
“I am playing the character of an oncologist named Arjun Negi, and he works in a cancer research lab. He is married with two kids. So, it was a fun character for me,” added Priyanshu.
The show features a lot of live-action animation, a first for this particular genre.
“VFX or special effects, I wasn’t very keen on them, but once I saw that they are taking the story forward, I think I was okay with them, and the makers haven’t used all that much special effects, it is all-natural show” added Priyanshu.
Producing the show is Amrit Walia. Ron Marz is the script doctor, and author Devdutt Pattanaik is the script consultant. Only on ZEE5 the series will begin streaming on May 5, 2023.
