Alia Bhatt claims, “Pyaar se bada koi Astra nahi.”
The movie Brahmastra, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was released in theatres. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna each have significant roles in the film, which had a great opening day collection. Along with Deepika Padukone playing Jal Astra, Shah Rukh Khan made a guest appearance in the film as Vanar Astra. The funders are Dharma Productions, Star Studios, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. In its cinematic universe dubbed Astraverse, the movie is meant to serve as the first part of a planned trilogy.
To surprise his fans as Brahmastra was being screened, Ranbir and Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji made an unexpected visit to a Mumbai theatre on Sunday. The actor from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil spoke with many excited fans and posed for photos with them. Alia Bhatt, unable to attend the unexpected visit, shared her happiness at the audience’s response to Brahmastra on her Instagram story. The actress tweeted, “Pyaar se bada aur koi Astra Nahin hai is Duniya mein,” along with a collection of pictures of Ranbir.
In response to the success of Brahmastra, the actor stated, “Audience ka jo Pyaar mil Raha hai, usse bada Brahmastra Kuch Nahi hai. Ranbir patted Ayan and added, “I am delighted and proud of this man standing next to me. He has worked with dedication, hard work, and love. And this is the best feeling. We all have come back to the cinemas. We loved seeing the emotions here. We feel loved and entertained. People are laughing and clapping. This is what cinemas are all about.”
During the weekend, Brahmastra ranked as the top film worldwide at the box office. It was the first time a Bollywood movie was rated in the global box office charts.
