Esha Deol, an actress who will soon be seen in the Hunter series, believes the show has a strong and mass message. Esha made an impression with her outstanding performance in Rudra.
At the premiere of Hema Malini’s “Ganga,” a dance ballet honouring the majesty of our Motherland as “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” in the 75th year of Indian Independence, Esha Deol was speaking with the media.
Talking about her mother’s dance show, Esha said, “I am super excited to watch my mother, Hema Malini performs here. I have seen all her rehearsals, hard work, and teamwork, which is gone behind putting this performance together. I am excited to watch the visual spectacle, the dance performance of my mom as Ganga. I have plenty of fond memories of my mother performing and dancing, the first ballet she created was Meera, and at the time, I had five. Even I played baby Meera in that same performance.”
Further adding, Esha said, “I think there is a social, environmental message. My mother is trying to live with her dance performance. The message is simple. We need to clean our rivers for coming generations.”
When asked about her second mega series, Esha said, “I am extremely excited about the Hunter series, I am looking forward to everyone’s reaction, and I am sure all the women are going to enjoy my role as Divya, it is an amazing action, drama, and emotional roller-coaster story.”
Adding about working with Suniel Shetty, she said, “Working with Anna (Suniel Shetty) has always been wonderful. He is a great co-star. We have done a couple of films together, and to reunite with him, after a long gap, was lovely. And this set-up of this project is young and vibrant, the entire team is new, and it was fun working with everyone, plus the series has a strong message and is very messy.”
Yoodlee Films is the producer of the episodic eight-part series. In addition to Mihir Ahuja, Teena Singh, Chahat Tejwani, Karanvir Sharma, Siddharth Kher, Gargi Sawant, and Pawan Chopra, it is directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra.
The show debuts on streaming services on March 22, 2023.
