Netflix unveiled the first teaser trailer of upcoming action-thriller Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds. Red Notice is Netflix’s most expensive movie of all time. The film is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. This film is the third collaboration between him and actor Dwayne Johnson. He previously starred in the 2016 action-comedy Central Intelligence and the 2018 thriller Skyscraper.
The trailer starts with Dwayne Johnson as an INTERPOL agent, and Gal Gadot will portray the world’s greatest art thief. Ryan Reynold’s character in the film is acknowledged as the world’s greatest con-man. To catch the world’s most wanted art thief, INTERPOL puts out a Red Notice, a global alert for agents across the globe. Johnson portrays a rugged law enforcement agent, unlike Reynolds and Gadot. They display the sense of calm expected from world-class criminals.
Johnson is also a producer on Red Notice alongside Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia. The Netflix original film is a production of Flynn Picture Company, Seven Bucks Productions, and Bad Version, Inc.
Before Netflix acquired Red Notice, Universal and Legendary Pictures won the initial bidding war, but Universal’s reported issue with production differences with Thurber. The project shifted to Netflix. Red Notice will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday, November 12, 2021.
