Dulquer Salmaan has Unveiled the first look of his upcoming Tamil film Hey Sinamika. Directed by Choreographer Brinda, who is making her directorial debut with the film. It is a romantic comedy film, releasing in theatres on February 25. The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal in a pivotal roles.
Taking to Twitter, Dulquer Salmaan shared the film’s firsts look and captioned it, “Wait is over, Presenting the super colourful FIRST LOOKSmiling face with heart-shaped eyes. Yours truly as Yaazhan in #HeySinamika Film to hit big screens on Feb 25, 2022 #DQ33FirstLook #DQ33.”
Hey Sinamika went on floors on March 12 with a customary pooja, graced by directors Bhagyaraj and Mani Ratnam as the chief guests. Salmaan shared the pictures from the launch on Twitter. In the photos, he can be seen standing next to Brinda and Aditi Rao, holding a clapper-board. Dulquer captioned the post, “The magic of new beginnings! Starting the journey of #HeySinamika with some lovely ladies Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajal Aggarwal and under the guidance of my dearest Brinda master!”
Produced by Jio Studios, Global One Studios, and Viacom18 Studios. Hey Sinamika will have music by Govind Vasantha. Film’s title is borrowed from Mani Ratnam’s hit Tamil romantic comedy “O Kadhal Kanmani” (2015), which starred Salmaan and Nithya Menen.
Hey Sinamika will release in theatres on February 25, 2022.
