Director SS Rajamouli mourns the demise of RRR and Thor actor Ray Stevenson.

On Sunday, renowned actor Ray Stevenson passed away at 58. He was well known for his performance in the recent hit movie RRR. His representatives confirmed his tragic death. According to his team, he was in Italy at the time of his death. Four days before his birthday, the unfavorable news came. He passed away suddenly, but the reason why is still unknown. A renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli mourned Ray’s passing on social media. 

The late actor played a negative character in RRR, a movie featuring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. In the film, he played the cruel and racist Governor Scott Buxton, the main antagonist. Ray was remembered by SS Rajamouli, who shared a photo of the two of them from the set. His message stated, “Shocking… Just can’t believe this news. Ray brought so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.” 

Fans began paying tribute to the late actor shortly after he shared the message. A fan said, “So heartbreaking. He was a fantastic actor. His performance in RRR was spectacular!! You will be missed. RIP.” While another said, “Rarely actors capture the camera. What a solid screen presence he had. God bless his soul and give strength to his family. I wished to see more of him on screen.”
