The trailer for Naga Chaitanya’s next supernatural suspense movie, Dhootha, was unveiled on his birthday. In the trailer, a web of dark secrets and mysteries captures investigative journalist Sagar, played by Naga Chaitanya Akkineni.
Sagar’s character appears in the trailer as someone determined to know the truth about a series of disturbing premonitions revealed through newspaper clippings. Sagar fights against time to stop the impending tragedies, as these clippings foretell terrible mishaps that will happen to people in his proximity. The release date of Dhootha—which will debut on December 1 on Amazon Prime Video—is revealed at the end of the teaser.
The trailer’s superb portrayal of an atmosphere of suspense keeps the audience engaged from start to finish. Director Vikram K. Kumar is well-known for his spooky thrillers.
Directed by Vikram K Kumar, the eight-episode series is expected to include strong performances from a diverse ensemble cast that includes important roles for Naga Chaitanya, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Prachi Desai.
