The eagerly awaited series Call Me Bae’s release date is coming. The actress Ananya Panday is making her web series debut, and Vir Das, Varun Sood, and other cast members will be joining her. With the release of the show’s trailer, viewers can now get a taste of the fun while Ananya’s bae prepares to hustle in Mumbai. It is also closely related to Siddhant Chaturvedi.
The trailer for the new web series Call Me Bae was made available on social media today, August 20, 2024. The character Bae, played by Ananya Panday, who was born with a golden spoon, is introduced to the audience in the 2-minute and 34-second trailer. She has every luxury and wealth possible all around her. But one day, she loses her privilege and has to start afresh.
After arriving in Mumbai, Bae gets a job as a journalist. She is travelling with Vir Das and Varun Sood as she attempts to discover who she is. There’s also a humorous reference to Siddhant Chaturvedi in the trailer. Ananya is shown in one shot saying to a security guard, “Majburiyon se main guzar rahi hun, bhaiya.” In response, he says, “Aapki majburi jahan shuru hoti hai, wahan tak pahunchna hi toh humara sapna hai.”
Ishita Moitra created the series Call Me Bae, while Collin D’Cunha directed it. In addition to Ananya Panday, the cast of the show includes Vir Das, Lisa Mishra, Mini Mathur, Vihaan Samat, Muskkkaan Jaferi, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Varun Sood. Ishita Moitra, Rohit Nair, and Samina Motlekar wrote the series. Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd is the production banner run by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra.
Call Me Bae will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video On September 6, 2024.
