Anjini Dhawan, the niece of actor Varun Dhawan, is on the brink of her Bollywood debut, a moment that has been eagerly awaited. The first look poster and release date for the film Binny and Family, where she will make her Bollywood debut, has been revealed. It’s a coming-of-age story in a family movie. Among those who showered Anjini with love were filmmaker Karan Johar and friends Khushi and Shanaya Kapoor.
The first look at the upcoming film Binny and Family was released on social media today, July 29, 2024. “Introducing Anjini Dhawan” was written on the poster, featuring the young actress wearing headphones and a casual look. Along with the rest of the cast—Pankaj Kapur, Rajesh Kumar, Himani Shivpuri, and Charu Shankar—the poster featured debutante Naman Tripathy.
The caption said, “Purane zamaane ke sanskaar v/s aajkal ke modern vichaar! Complications se bhari family hai Binny ki, par yeh kahaani hai hum sab ki.”
The caption further stated that August 30 is the movie’s theatrical release date, “Miliye Binny And Family se 30th August apne nazdeeki cinema gharon mein. #HarGenerationKuchKehtaHai.”

Every generation may relate to the theme of this slice-of-life movie, which centres on the dynamics of Binny’s family. The producers of Binny and Family are Shashank Khaitan, Mrighdeep Lamba, Waveband Productions, and Mahaveer Jain Films, all under the direction of Ektaa R Kapoor. Ssanjay Tripaathy is the film’s writer/director.
