In 2018 small budget films did very well at the box office. But Big budget films failed to entertain the audience. Some of these films are:
1.Thugs of Hindustan-Big budget Film Thugs of hindustan having two of biggest superstars of Bollywood Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan together could not work at box office.The film which was eagerly awaited both by fans and critics mostly disappointed.
2.Zero-Shahrukh Khan Starrer could not perform well at box office.Zero is story of vertically challegened man Bauaa Singh.What happens when Buaaa Singh meets Superstar Babit Kumari forms the story of the film.Though Shahrukh Khan acting was appreciated by most critcs film bad direction and story brought down the film.
3.Namastey England-Namstey England was a flop at the box office. The film starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra could not live up to the name of Namastey London. Though the director clearly said the Namastey England is not a sequel audience expected a better story from makers. Namastey London starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina kaif which is a super hit film, Namastey England also had a similar story but could excite the audience like the first film
