Aparshakti Khurana has completed the shooting for his upcoming film Jab Khuli Kitaab, directed by Saurabh Shukla. The film is a romantic comedy, and it is a stage-to-screen adaptation of Shukla’s play of the same name. It also stars Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia, Samir Soni and Nauheed Cyrusi.
Jab Khuli Kitaab is a love story of an older couple heading for a divorce after 50 years of marriage. It deals with the dysfunctionality of relationships and its impact on family, with dollops of humor and heart.
As per the ANI report, speaking about his experience working on a film, Aparshakti said, “Work never feels like work when you have such a great mix of experienced actors around. I am sure ‘Jab Khuli Kitaab’ start to finish schedule was an absolute delight for all of us and an immense learning opportunity, especially for me.”
He added, “Moreover, the film is based on the fact that love knows no age. And I, for one, am a true believer of that. This love story, beautifully portrayed by Pankaj ji and Dimple ji will hit the screens soon! Super excited for this one,”
Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with producer Naren Kumar’s Shoe Strap Films. Set in Uttarakhand, Jab Khuli Kitaab recently wrapped its start-to-finish schedule in Ranikhet.
