Since its December 1 release, the Ranbir Kapoor movie Animal has been a worldwide box office hit, grabbing worldwide attention. The makers unveiled the film’s most recent figures on Monday. Following a 10-day run in theatres, Animal achieved a significant milestone by grossing over ₹700 crore worldwide.
In just ten days, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action movie Animal has made ₹717.46 crore in worldwide gross. Animal had amassed ₹660.89 crore in worldwide gross in just nine days. The Ranbir Kapoor movie, which also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna, is under fire for promoting toxic masculinity and misogyny.
Along with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, and Rajinikanth’s Jailer, the movie has become one of the top 5 biggest grossing films of 2023 thus far, despite receiving criticism for its toxic characters and disturbing scenes. Animal is currently the third-highest-earning Indian movie of the year worldwide.
Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series, Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios backed Animal. It clashed against Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur at the box office.
Ranbir Kapoor’s revenge drama debuted in theatres worldwide on December 1. In addition to Ranbir, the film Animal stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh renown, centres on the problematic relationship between a father and son. Ranbir portrays the traumatized, furious son, whereas Anil portrays the emotionally disconnected father.
