Tributes and Condolence messages are pouring from across the country on the death of Actor Dilip Kumar, who passed away early on Wednesday at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. But Amul India remembered him in their way. They paid tribute to the actor in its quintessential utterly, butterly topical.
The graphic shared by Amul features black and white drawings of characters played by Dilip Kumar in some of his classic Hindi films, such as Ganga Jamuna and Aadmi, text on the post read, “Ganga bhi, jamuna bhi, Aadmi bhi, vidhaata bhi, haar andaaz ka leader.” The caption on the post read: “Tribute to the legendary actor.”
Dilip Kumar died at the age of 98 in a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday morning. The news of his death was posted to his official Twitter account by his family friend Faisal Farooqui, who said, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return.”
Dilip Kumar is survived by his wife Saira Banu, his co-star of films such as Sagina Mahato, Gopi, Bairaag and Duniya. They got married in October 1966.
