Amitabh Bachchan has shared the new poster of his upcoming film Jhund on social media. He also announced the film would release in theatres on March 4. It was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but now makers have decided to release it on the big screen.
Taking to Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan shared a film’s news poster along with the film’s release date. He captioned it, “Iss toli se muqaabla karne ke liye raho taiyaar! Humari team aa rahi hai #Jhund releasing on 4th March 2022 in cinemas near you.”
The Makers of the Jhund dropped the teaser in Jan 2020. In the teaser, we heard Big B’s voice saying, “Jhund nahi kahiye sir, team kahiye, team.” His voiceover was followed by a group of children walking in a warehouse.
In Jhund, Amitabh plays the role of Vijay Barse, is the founder of Slum Soccer, an organization that uplifts underprivileged children through football. The film was announced in February 2019. It was supposed to hit the big screen on May 8, 2020, but was postponed due to the Covid-19.
Directed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, Sandip Singh and Meenu Aroraa under the banner of T-series, Tandav Films Entertainment and Aatpat Films.
Jhund will hit the screens on March 4, 2022.
