Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna will soon make his digital debut with his film ‘State of Siege: Temple Attack’. The story of ‘State of Siege’ is based on the terrorist attack on Akshardham Temple in Gujarat in the year 2002. The film will release on July 9 on the OTT platform ZEE5.
Teaser gives a glimpse of what lies ahead in the action drama. The teaser starts with a voice of a terrorist. Then, it shows the Akshardham temple under terrorist attack and NSG commandos planning for a rescue mission. Akshay will play the role of NSG commando in this film. This thrilling teaser is full of action, suspense and drama.
The film ‘State of Siege’ is directed by Ken Ghosh. He is a well-known director of Bollywood, has directed films like ‘Fida’ and ‘Ishq- Vishk’. He said in a statement, “State of Siege: Temple Attack is not just a film. It is a tribute to the NSG commandos of India, who are always ready to risk their lives to protect us. As a son of a naval officer, I have grown up in awe of our armed forces. In-State of Siege: Temple Attack, we have tried our best to give a fitting tribute to our heroes, and I cannot wait for the release of the film on ZEE5.”
