Akshay Kumar has announced the release date of his upcoming period drama Prithviraj. The film will hit the theatres on June 10, 2022. He also shared the character motion posters of Manushli Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonu Sood. It will be the debut film of Manushi Chhillar.
Taking to Twitter, Akshay shared the film’s character motion posters in a series of tweets. He is essaying Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in the movie. Along with his poster, Akshay wrote, “पराक्रम में अर्जुन, प्रतिज्ञा में भीष्म, ऐसे महान सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान की भूमिका करने का सौभाग्य जीवन मे कभी कभी मिलता है. A role of a lifetime.Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan arriving in cinemas on 10th June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.”
Manushi Chhillar, Miss World 2017, is making her Bollywood debut with Prithviraj. She will be seen in the role of Princesses Sanyogita. Akshay wrote along with her poster, “प्रण में अड़िग, प्रेम में पावन ऐसी राजकुमारी संयोगिता, भारत का गौरव है! Princess Sanyogita weaved a tale of true love & compassion.”
Akshay also introduces Sonu Sood as Chand Vardai in Prithviraj. Sharing his look, Akshay wrote, “बुद्धि में बुध, नीति में बृहस्पति, काव्य में कालिदास ऐसे महाकवि चंद वरदाई को प्रणाम! Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of Kaka Kanha. Akshay captioned about his look, “वीरता में भीम, रणभूमि में नरसिंह ऐसे सम्राट पृथ्वीराज के काका और सामंत, काका कन्ह की विजय होI Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’s trusted saamant – Kaka Kanha.”
Directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, who fought against the ruthless invader Muhammad of Ghor.
