Akshay Kumar shared the first look poster of his upcoming film OMG 2. The sequel to his 2012 film OMG – Oh My God, along with Akshay, Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Mithun Chakraborty, played a pivotal role. The original movie is directed by Umesh Shukla, based on a major social issue. The film was appreciated across generations and also received good critical reviews.
Taking Twitter, Akshay shared film’s first look posters along with caption, “‘कर्ता करे न कर सके शिव करे सो होय ..’ Need your blessings and wishes for #OMG2, our honest and humble attempt to reflect on an important social issue. May the eternal energy of Adiyogi bless us through this journey. हर हर महादेव.” In the poster, Akshay sports look like Lord Shiva with long hair and blue skin. Another poster shows a divine hand could be seen holding another normal hand.
After over a decade, the makers are getting ready to entertain with a sequel to OMG- Oh My God. In the sequel, Pankaj Tripathi has replaced Paresh Rawal. Amit Rai will direct OMG-2. Akshay will be essaying the role of Lord Shiva, while Yami Gautam will also be seen in a key role.
Akshay also shared the glimpse from the shooting sets. He shared the video with Pankaj Tripathi, both are seen discussing something while walking. Bellbottom star captioned the post, “ब्रह्मांड का प्रारम्भ जहां ब्रह्मांड का प्रस्थान जहां आदि और अनंत काल के स्वामी , भगवान महाकाल के आशीर्वाद लेने तपस्वियों की नगरी उज्जैन पहुंचे मैं और मेरे मित्र @TripathiiPankaj #OMG2.”
Akshay Kumar is also shooting Ram Setu and Cinderella. He finished shooting his upcoming film Raksha Bandhan, and his cop-drama Sooryavanshi will be released on November 5.
