Akshay Kumar Clarifies The mistake In The BTS Pic, Pointed Out By The IPS Officer.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming cop film, Sooryavanshi, is ready to hit the theatres on Diwali this year. Sharing about this announcement, the actor shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) Photo from Set. The picture shows the film’s director Rohit Shetty with all three cops from his Cop Universe- Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgn. All three actors are wearing the uniform. After looking at this picture, IPS officer RK Vij pointed out a mistake in the photo.

Sharing the news about the release date of the upcoming action drama. Akshay Kumar shared the picture with the film’s director and fellow actors on Twitter. In the photo, Ranveer Singh sits while Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn stand next to him with Rohit Shetty. Ranveer’s Simmba is lower in designation as compared to Ajay’s Singham and Akshay’s Sooryavanshi. Senior IPS officer RK Vij saw the picture and reacted to it, saying it didn’t go in line with the protocol of the law enforcement agency. He Tweeted, “इंस्पेक्टर साहेब बैठे हैं (तन कर) और एस पी साहब खड़े, ऐसे नही होता है जनाब.  (An inspector wouldn’t sit like that in front of his seniors in the real world).”

Akshay Kumar responded to his tweet, “जनाब ये तो Behind the Scenes फ़ोटो है। हम कलाकार लोगों के लिए जैसे ही कैमरा ऑन हुआ, एकदम protocol वापस ( Sir, this is a behind-the-scenes photo. All the actors follow protocol, the moment the cameras is turned on), Regards forever to our great police forces. Hope you like the film when you watch it”.

After Akshay’s clarification, the IPS officer tweeted again, saying, “Thank you for your response and respect you showed for the forces @akshaykumar, My comment was also in a lighter vein,  Will definitely watch the film.”

Sooryavanshi was initially slated to release on March 24 last year but was postponed twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now the film will hit theatres on Diwali.
