Akshay Kumar And Emraan Hashmi will share screen space in the new film, Selfiee. The film is the Hindi remake of Malayalam-language comedy-drama Driving Licence, released in 2019, which featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
Akshay Kumar shared a picture of him with Emraan Hashmi on Twitter with the caption, “Found myself the perfect #Selfiee partner! Hey @karanjohar, have we slayed this selfie game or what? @therealemraan.”
Emraan also shared the same picture on Twitter and wrote, “Joining the #Selfiee club with @akshaykumar!”
Taking to Twitter, producer Karan Johar has released the teaser of Selfiee. In the teaser, Akshay and Emraan can be seen dancing together. Sharing the teaser, he wrote, “Presenting #Selfiee starring two absolutely smashing actors – Akshay Kumar & Emraan Hashmi and directed by Raj Mehta. Hop into the frame and pose because shooting begins soon!”
Produced by Akshay’s late mother Aruna Bhatia, Hiroo Yash Johar, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta and Stephen. Selfiee will be backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Raj Mehta. The shooting of the film will begin soon.
Akshay was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, with Dhanush and Sara Ali khan. He has exciting films lined up such as Prithiviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu and Oh My God 2.
